Every time I see this picture the word “respect” comes into my mind (then of course the song sung by Aretha Franklin). The way these young men look up to their couch absorbing everything he says is inspiring. The life of a Vista Ridge student may last four years. But the pride and respect of a Ranger that these couches teach these boys will last with them for a life time.
I want to be free. The best part is I can! I am a young 18 year old woman, my high school career is over in 11 weeks, thus beginning a new chapter in my life. It is as if I am being reborn. I hope to one day be a dreamer. I want to help change the world one story at a time. My dream job would be to work with National Geographic and to go around the world capturing a moment and then writing about everything I had the blessing to experience. But for now, I am taking my friend’s senior pictures, their wedding pictures, and my school’s events.
This is Brent Vega$; he is an entrepreneur. He is a junior at Vista Ridge High School, and one day hopes to become a famous rapper. So, I decided to help him in his dreams by taking some pictures for his networking plans. (Plus I got to work on my portfolio at the same time). Vega$ isn’t your typical rapper white boy who raps of demeaning women and everyday topics showed in the limelight. He raps of self-expression, and of HIS own life experiences. I believe in him because he believes he has the formula for success and the gumption to get there. He raps of the struggles he has endured so far in his life, and through it all, how GOD has only made a deeper hook into his heart. Brent Vega$ is the future of rap, and I hope you all agree.
