21 Reasons It’s Better To Live Alone

Fantastic, I am even more sure I made the right decision to move to Seattle this summer!

1) You’re responsible for doing all the chores, which probably means your place is going to stay a lot cleaner than if you had a roommate. There’s no person who always takes out the trash to depend on!

2) You’re free to walk around as naked as you want, at all times. Even if you’re just running from the bedroom to the shower to grab something real quick.

3) You won’t have to worry about saving the hot water for your roommates. It’s all yours.

4) You get to “host” sex with anyone at any time. No more trying to work around your roommate’s work/class hours to schedule those hook ups. And guess what? When you’re done your sex friend has their own place to go back to!

5) Relatedly, you won’t have to hear your roommates having loud, gross sex with a person you…

I can’t remember exactly how I stumbled upon Verily, but I’m so glad I did. It’s “the modern woman’s go-to guide on how to lead a fulfilling, integrated life.” I especially love the feature interviews with successful female entrepreneurs, and the daily doses of inspiration.

A refreshing departure from the photoshopped celebrity-worship of other publications targeted at our gender, Verily celebrates the authentic beauty, talent, and strength of the modern day woman.

With articles covering style, beauty, relationships, lifestyle, and culture, there’s something for everyone.

Girl power! 😉

Every time I see this picture the word “respect” comes into my mind (then of course the song sung by Aretha Franklin). The way these young men look up to their couch absorbing everything he says is inspiring. The life of a Vista Ridge student may last four years. But the pride and respect of a Ranger that these couches teach these boys will last with them for a life time.

The Land Of Opportunity

The Land Of Opportunity

I want to be free. The best part is I can! I am a young 18 year old woman, my high school career is over in 11 weeks, thus beginning a new chapter in my life. It is as if I am being reborn. I hope to one day be a dreamer. I want to help change the world one story at a time. My dream job would be to work with National Geographic and to go around the world capturing a moment and then writing about everything I had the blessing to experience. But for now, I am taking my friend’s senior pictures, their wedding pictures, and my school’s events.

Brent Vega$

This is Brent Vega$; he is an entrepreneur. He is a junior at Vista Ridge High School, and one day hopes to become a famous rapper. So, I decided to help him in his dreams by taking some pictures for his networking plans. (Plus I got to work on my portfolio at the same time). Vega$ isn’t your typical rapper white boy who raps of demeaning women and everyday topics showed in the limelight. He raps of self-expression, and of HIS own life experiences. I believe in him because he believes he has the formula for success and the gumption to get there. He raps of the struggles he has endured so far in his life, and through it all, how GOD has only made a deeper hook into his heart. Brent Vega$ is the future of rap, and I hope you all agree.
